# Warner Bros. Stock (WBD) Gains on Amazon Deal to Transform Ad Tech

Warner Bros.' (WBD) shares edged higher on Wednesday afternoon. This came after the entertainment giant announced plans to use AI agents to automate and improve how it sells and manages ad space across its TV and digital platforms. Amazon Web Services (AWS) (AMZN) will deliver these agentic AI capabilities.

## **Warner Bros. Expands Ad Tech**

In a blog post shared by Amazon, Warner Bros. said it has begun rolling out "a new generation of capabilities." These are expected to help ad buyers better predict audience behavior and measure how their ad campaigns perform.

As part of the push to expand its ad technology stack on AWS, Warner Bros. intends to introduce unified media planning in the third quarter of this year. This means it will bring ad planning tools together into a single system for easier access.

Advertising is one of Warner Bros.' biggest sources of revenue, as the image below shows.
