# Nasdaq Earns Buy Rating on Surging Trading Volumes and Robust Index-Related Growth

William Blair analyst Jeff Schmitt has maintained their bullish stance on NDAQ stock, giving a Buy rating on June 22.

Jeff Schmitt’s rating is based on Nasdaq’s strong operating momentum, particularly the surge in trading volumes across key asset classes. U.S. equity options and cash equities posted nearly 40% gains in average daily volume, while European cash equity activity rose sharply as well, supporting higher transaction-driven revenue.

Jeff Schmitt has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including robust index-related growth that complements the trading strength. Assets in ETPs tracking Nasdaq indexes expanded significantly and futures tied to those benchmarks also advanced, reinforcing the company’s fee-based and market-sensitive income streams despite some softness in European derivatives.

In another report released on June 22, TD Cowen also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $98.00 price target.
