The PBOC conducted RMB10 billion of seven-day reverse repo operations, while RMB288.5 billion of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net withdrawal of RMB278.5 billion in a single day. The three major A-share indices opened 0.2% to 1.2% higher. The Shanghai Composite Index opened up 6 pts or 0.17% at 3,977. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 98 pts or 0.66% at 15,038. The ChiNext Index opened up 46 pts or 1.22% at 3,892. Banking stocks ICBC (601398.SH) -0.100 (-1.357%) and CCB (601939.SH) -0.150 (-1.490%) opened down 0.5% and 1.5%, while CMB (600036.SH) -0.470 (-1.239%) opened down 0.6%. Insurance stocks PING AN OF CHINA (601318.SH) -0.540 (-1.090%) and CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.210 (-0.569%) opened down 0.6% to 0.8%, while CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) -0.310 (-1.055%) opened down 0.2%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) -1.050 (-1.196%) opened down 1.5%. CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) +1.900 (+0.526%) opened flat. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +3.900 (+2.564%) opened up 1%, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) +1.570 (+0.438%) opened up 1.8%. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) +5.450 (+0.386%) opened up 2.1%. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) +29.910 (+3.560%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) +8.000 (+1.201%) opened up 5.7% and 1.8% respectively, as Changxin Technology officially launched the STAR Market IPO issuance process. LQKJ (688008.SH) +12.400 (+5.017%) opened up 2.8%. Optical fiber stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +8.880 (+2.166%) opened up 2.2%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) +53.390 (+8.852%) opened nearly 5% higher. Among the three major optical module players, ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) +16.750 (+1.484%) opened up 2.2%, TFC (300394.SZ) +7.090 (+2.886%) opened up 2.8%, and EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) +11.660 (+2.283%) opened nearly 3% higher. RIGOL Tech (00537.HK) -8.480 (-18.443%) and Dtech Technology (01377.HK) -36.200 (-9.526%) were added to the Stock Connect eligible securities list, while RIGOL (688337.SH) -0.480 (-0.839%) and DTECH (301377.SZ) +8.420 (+1.780%) A-shares opened up 2.6% and 2.8% respectively.
