# Lei Jun: SKYNOMAD Xiaomi Pengcheng SUV Features Intelligent Space Switching Capability

XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) +0.280 (+1.107%) Short selling $2.06B; Ratio 20.335% founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun officially unveiled Xiaomi Auto's second product series, "SKYNOMAD Xiaomi Pengcheng".

He revealed that when Xiaomi Pengcheng was planned and initiated in early 2023, the team repeatedly asked a core question: "how can a vehicle truly make people feel at ease?" The answer was to use intelligence to define space and create a "living space".

To achieve this goal, the group began building a brand-new platform architecture from scratch in early 2023 - Xiaomi Kunlun Architecture. Under the SUV form factor, the Pengcheng series is equipped with intelligent space switching capability through a fully flat floor and long sliding rail design inside the vehicle.

Achieving this requires simultaneous strengths in "AI technology + intelligent ecosystem + intelligent manufacturing capabilities". Lei said Xiaomi happens to possess all three with a solid foundation. The Pengcheng series will be launched soon.
