Two new stocks debuted on their first day, with individual stock price developments.

The wafer foundry company Nexchip opened at HKD 36, which is 11% higher than the offering price of HKD 32.3. Excluding handling fees, the paper profit for one board of 100 shares is HKD 370. The public offering portion recorded approximately 343 times oversubscription, with a one-board winning rate of 8%. The net fundraising amount is nearly HKD 6.8 billion.

The chemical company BEFAR GROUP opened at HKD 2.74, which is 21% lower than the offering price of HKD 3.48. Excluding handling fees, the paper loss for one board is HKD 740. The public offering portion recorded approximately 226 times oversubscription, with a one-board winning rate of 5%. The net fundraising amount is about HKD 1.16 billion
