F.T.C. settlement grants John Deere farm equipment owners right-to-repair. They can now make fixes independently.

As per recent settlement with the Federal Trade Commission, the company has agreed to permit farmers and local mechanics the freedom to conduct repairs themselves instead of being mandated to use authorized dealers.
