# Nomad Power unveils upgraded Voyager mobile storage series

Nomad Power Solutions ( (NMAD) ) has shared an update.

On July 8, 2026, Nomad Power Solutions announced a third-generation upgrade to its Voyager mobile energy storage series, significantly increasing fleet-wide usable capacity without altering trailer footprint, rated power output or sub-one-hour deployment. Standard storage on the Voyager Eagle and Falcon units rises to 2.025 MWh each and to 1.0 MWh on the Voyager Hawk, delivering more than 50% additional energy across the line and extending full-load runtimes for end users.

The new generation incorporates Octillion Power Systems’ prismatic lithium iron phosphate battery architecture with integrated liquid cooling and HVAC, enabling substantially higher energy density within the existing semi-trailer form factor. By offering materially more stored energy per pad position without additional permitting, installation time or infrastructure redesign, Nomad strengthens its competitive position in the rapidly expanding data center battery energy storage market and enhances value for operators seeking longer-duration backup and demand-charge management.
