# CHINA VANKE Projects Interim Loss to Widen to Up to RMB15B

CHINA VANKE (02202.HK) -0.010 (-0.426%) Short selling $792.86K; Ratio 1.104% issued a profit warning, expecting net loss for the interim period ended 30 June 2026 to range between RMB12 billion and RMB15 billion, widening from a loss of approximately RMB11.947 billion in the same period of 2025. Based on basic EPS, LPS for the period is expected to range between RMB1.0058 and RMB1.2573, compared with LPS of RMB1.0075 in the same period last year.  

The group explained that the wider loss was mainly attributable to a significant decline in settlement scale of property development projects during the period, while gross profit margin remained at a low level. In addition, new asset impairment provisions were made in response to changes in the industry, market and operating environment. Under the cost method of accounting, certain operating businesses and non-core financial investments recorded losses after deducting depreciation and amortization.
