# China's 1H25 Innovative Drug Out-Licensing Deal Value Rises to USD110 Billion, Hitting Fresh Record High

China Central Television (CCTV) reported today (13th), citing the National Medical Products Administration, that the total value of China's innovative drug out-licensing transactions reached approximately USD110 billion from January to June this year, accounting for 80% of the full-year total in 2025 and setting another record high.

Latest statistics showed that, as of June 30, China recorded 81 innovative drug out-licensing deals with a total transaction value of about USD110 billion, representing 80% of the full-year out-licensing transaction value in 2025. Statistics showed that in 1H25, China's innovative drug out-licensing transactions covered 10 therapeutic areas including oncology, metabolism, immunology and neurology. Major licensees came from 20 countries and regions including the US, the UK, France and Italy.(da/u)
