# Jiangsu Lopal Flags 2026 H1 Impairment Hit on Receivables and Inventory

Jiangsu Lopal Tech. Group Co., Ltd. has announced an indicative plan to book significant asset impairment provisions for the first half of 2026, mainly tied to accounts receivable and inventories rather than goodwill. The move follows preliminary tests under Chinese accounting standards and reflects higher receivables and lower raw material prices, with the company estimating a hit of about RMB35.7 million to RMB41.3 million to net profit attributable to shareholders.

The company reported that goodwill associated with its Changzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology and Zhangjiagang TEEC Automotive Chemicals units showed no impairment indicators, suggesting these acquisitions remain on track operationally. Management stressed that the impairment figures are unaudited and may change once full tests are completed for the 2026 interim report, warning investors to treat the estimates cautiously due to potential impacts on earnings and perceived credit and inventory risk.
