# CNGR Forecasts Strong Interim Profit Surge on Robust Battery Materials Demand

The latest update is out from CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd. Class H ( (HK:2579) ).

CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd. expects a sharp rise in profitability for the first half of 2026, projecting net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 1.25 billion to RMB 1.35 billion, up roughly 71% to 84% year-on-year. Profit after excluding non-recurring items is also set to surge by about 84% to 99%, though the figures are preliminary estimates by the finance department and remain unaudited.

Management attributes the earnings jump to robust global new energy demand and strong sales growth across its core battery material segments, with ternary precursor volumes up more than 50% and phosphorus-based materials up more than 25%, while sodium battery precursors sustained high growth. The company’s upstream nickel resource investments and Indonesian pyrometallurgical smelting operations delivered solid returns and cost advantages, reinforcing CNGR’s full-industry-chain positioning and enhancing its operational safety margin and counter-cyclical resilience.
