# Analyst Reiterates Buy on MapLight Therapeutics, Maintains $45 Price Target Amid Optimism for ML-007C-MA

LifeSci Capital analyst Francois Brisebois reiterated a Buy rating on MapLight Therapeutics, Inc. today and set a price target of $45.00.

Francois Brisebois has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to ML-007C-MA’s emerging clinical and commercial profile. Feedback from key psychiatry experts suggests that ML-007C-MA’s more convenient dosing regimen and potentially better tolerability could overcome important real-world limitations seen with Cobenfy, the first approved non-dopaminergic option.

Brisebois also sees meaningful upside if upcoming Phase 2 schizophrenia data show efficacy comparable to Cobenfy but with a clearer tolerability advantage, which KOLs believe could drive substantially higher long-term use. Combined with the sizable unmet need in both schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s psychosis, and the unchanged $45 price target, he views MapLight Therapeutics as positioned for favorable risk-reward and reiterates a positive stance on the stock.

In another report released on July 10, Needham also assigned a Buy rating to the stock with a $45.00 price target.
