# AIR CHINA  Jun Passenger Capacity Down 6.1% YoY

AIR CHINA (00753.HK) -0.040 (-0.976%) Short selling $17.91M; Ratio 13.153% announced that, based on available seat kilometers (ASK), consolidated passenger capacity in June 2026 fell 6.1% YoY, while passenger traffic measured by revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) declined 2.9% YoY. Among them, passenger capacity on domestic routes dropped 7.7%, while passenger traffic decreased 6.7%; passenger capacity on international routes fell 1.6%, while passenger traffic rose 7.4%. Passenger capacity on regional routes declined 16.4%, while passenger traffic fell 11.5%.

Average passenger load factor was 83.9%, up 2.8 ppts from the same period last year. Among them, domestic routes increased by 0.9 ppts, international routes rose 7 ppts to 84.1%, while regional routes increased by 4.4 ppts.

For cargo operations, cargo capacity measured by available freight ton kilometers (AFTK) fell 6.3% YoY, while cargo and mail traffic measured by revenue freight ton kilometers (RFTK) declined 1.6%. Cargo load factor was 48%, up 2.3 ppts YoY.

In June, AIR CHINA (00753.HK) -0.040 (-0.976%) Short selling $17.91M; Ratio 13.153% launched new routes from Wenzhou to Jeju and from Chengdu Tianfu to Yan'an. The company introduced one A320 series aircraft and one B737 series aircraft, while retiring one A320 series aircraft. As of the end of June, the company operated a total of 972 aircraft.
