CRWD, PANW, NET, ZS: One cybersecurity stock won over retail investors – but another tops Wall Street’s list
Cybersecurity stocks rallied following IBM's warning of shifting enterprise spending toward security. CrowdStrike led retail investor preference in a Stocktwits poll, while Wall Street analysts see the highest upside potential in Zscaler based on average price targets. Despite analyst optimism for CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks, their current prices imply downside from average targets, whereas Zscaler's target suggests over 26% upside.
In a Stocktwits poll that sought to gauge which names would post the best performance over the next 12 months, nearly half the users polled picked CrowdStrike as the clear winner.
