# Rubico Announces Acquisition of Additional Newbuilding MR Tanker and a 33% Increase of Potential Gross Revenue Backlog to About $305 Million

Rubico Inc., listed on Nasdaq as RUBI, a leading global shipping transport services provider specializing in vessel ownership, recently disclosed entering a share purchase agreement with Top Ships Inc. to acquire shares of a company engaged in a shipbuilding contract with Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. The contract is for the construction of a 47,499 deadweight tonnage chemical/product oil carrier termed as the "Newbuilding MR Tanker." The delivery of the Newbuilding MR Tanker is set for the third quarter of 2029.
