# Optical Communication Stocks Fall, AAOI Down 15%, LITE Down 12%

Optical communication stocks tumbled during regular trading Wednesday, with mainstream names all moving lower. The optical communication sector faced systematic selling pressure today, with heavily accumulated gains from earlier sessions triggering concentrated profit-taking. Among derivative ETFs, the 2x bullish ETF LITX(LITX.US) plunged over 23% intraday, while the inverse ETF LITZ(LITZ.US) surged more than 23%, with leverage effects significantly amplifying sector volatility.
