# SpaceXAI announces the open-source Grok Build

On July 16, Jinshi Data reported that on July 15 local time, SpaceX AI, a company under Elon Musk, announced the open-sourcing of Grok Build and reset all user usage limits. In response to user concerns about privacy, the company stated that since its launch, Grok Build has fully adhered to the Zero Data Retention (ZDR) principle.
