Andrew Wade has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including Premier Foods’ solid first-quarter performance and consistent branded revenue growth of around 4%. Branded Grocery sales remained resilient despite adverse weather conditions, while the Sweet Treats division delivered strong premium-led growth, underscoring the strength of the company’s core categories.

He also highlights that management reiterates being on track to meet full-year expectations, which supports confidence in the earnings outlook and justifies maintaining a constructive view on the shares. With operations performing in line with prior momentum and profitability expectations intact, Wade sees sufficient upside to keep a Buy recommendation, and he leaves his price target unchanged at $230.

Wade covers the Consumer Cyclical sector, focusing on stocks such as Frasers Group, Games Workshop, and Greggs plc. According to TipRanks, Wade has an average return of 3.9% and a 54.66% success rate on recommended stocks.
