# DTCC Digital Assets Chief Says Firm Is Working on Wall Street Tokenization Project

DTCC Digital Assets head Nadine Chakar said on the Trillions program that DTCC processes $40 trillion in settlements each year and that no blockchain can handle that scale at present. According to Odaily, she said the company is working with Canton, Stellar and other parties to advance a Wall Street tokenization project.
