# New Buy Rating for First Quantum Minerals (FQVLF), the Basic Materials Giant

RBC Capital analyst Sam Crittenden maintained a Buy rating on First Quantum Minerals on July 15 and set a price target of C$45.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at C$38.43.

### TipRanks Welcomes a New ETF – NYSE:RANK

-   TipRanks has entered a new arena in the investing world, powering the index of an ETF based on its unique data now trading under the ticker RANK on the NYSE.

According to TipRanks, Crittenden is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 24.6% and a 59.25% success rate. Crittenden covers the Basic Materials sector, focusing on stocks such as Lundin Mining, Freeport-McMoRan, and Ivanhoe Mines.

In addition to RBC Capital, First Quantum Minerals also received a Buy from Barclays’s Richard Garchitorena in a report issued yesterday. However, on July 6, J.P. Morgan maintained a Hold rating on First Quantum Minerals (Other OTC: FQVLF).
