# Goldgroup Mining and Gold Resource Corporation Announce Closing of Business Combination and Goldgroup’s Anticipated Listing on the NYSE American

Goldgroup Mining Inc. and Gold Resource Corporation have successfully completed a merger in Vancouver, British Columbia and Denver. Goldgroup Mining Inc.'s stock is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange as GGA, with an additional listing on the OTC market as GGAZD. On the other hand, Gold Resource Corporation is listed on the NYSE American as GORO. The merger was finalized as per the Arrangement Agreement and Plan of Merger, which was initially dated January 25, 2026, and later amended on May 15, 2026. The agreement involved Gold Resource Corporation, Goldgroup Mining Inc., and Goldgroup Merger Sub Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Goldgroup.
