Deribit's Chief Business Officer Jean-David Péquignot stated that multiple large-scale bullish spread trades were observed this week, which typically reflect institutional positioning. The timing of the trades is noteworthy: the July 31 expiration coincides with two days after the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on July 29, suggesting that some large traders expect the Fed meeting to drive Bitcoin up to $72,000. Federal funds futures indicate a 75% to 80% probability that rates will remain unchanged at the July meeting.
