# Dash: introduces cross-asset payments in DashPay - 19 Jul 2026

DashPay says its Dash-to-Anything feature is now available, letting users send Dash while recipients receive a supported digital asset, and receive supported assets as Dash through decentralized exchange integrations including NEAR Intents and Maya Protocol.

The release broadens Dash's payment use by reducing the need for both sides of a transaction to hold the same asset. That can make DashPay more practical for mixed-asset payments, because settlement can happen across supported assets instead of requiring a separate conversion step before sending or receiving.

The effect is narrower than the feature's availability alone. Its practical reach depends on how much DashPay is used, which assets are supported, and how reliably the integrated exchange routes work. That means the update adds real utility at the product level, while wider demand still depends on actual usage and partner coverage.
