Short selling data is four days behind today's date because reporting is not mandatory until three business days after the trade. The tables below will compare: - Week-on-week changes between 6 and 13 July 2026 - Month-on-month changes between 15 June and 13 July 2026 - Most covered and rising short tables record week-on-week changes of ~0.5% or more Most Shorted A slight reshuffling among the ranks, with Telix slipping from #4 to #6, while Treasury Wine Estates dropped out of the top ten and was replaced by Elders. Both have sold off aggressively in recent weeks, EOS down 43% from its 2 June record high and Droneshield off around 35% over the same period. Minerals 260 has seen its short interest spike from around 1.5% in mid-June to a record 4.66%, after the company released the PFS for its Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia. The stock fell 16.5% on the day (8 July) on concerns about capital intensity relative to prior expectations. Elsewhere, plenty of resource names including Genesis (set to merge with Vault Minerals), Develop Global, Firefly Metals and Vulcan Energy are seeing short interest rise against a volatile backdrop for commodity markets, with the S&P/ASX 200 Materials Index down 13.7% since its 17 June record high. IFM now plans a full strategic review, with squeezing more value out of the Chicago Skyway, a 2022 acquisition it long opposed, as the top priority. Qoria has also seen its shorts fade after completing its merger with Aura, which debuted on the ASX earlier this month under the ticker AXQ.
