# Greater Bay Area AI Computing Tech Secures RMB 1.185 Billion in AI Infrastructure Sale-and-Leaseback Financing

Guangdong – Hong Kong Greater Bay Area Holdings Ltd. ( (HK:1396) ) has issued an announcement.

Greater Bay Area AI Computing Tech Co., Ltd., via its indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary Shenzhen Hongrui, runs AI computing power cloud services supported by extensive IT and ancillary equipment. Its business model is capital-intensive and closely tied to the financing and ownership structure of those hardware assets.

Shenzhen Hongrui has entered into two sale-and-leaseback finance lease arrangements with SPDB Financial Leasing covering IT and ancillary equipment with a combined purchase price of about RMB 1.185 billion over 62-month terms. The aggregated transactions qualify as a disclosable transaction under Hong Kong Listing Rules, requiring reporting and announcement but not shareholder approval, and are intended to optimize financing for the group’s AI infrastructure while maintaining operational use of the assets.

Under the first set of agreements dated 24 June 2026, SPDB Financial Leasing will buy IT equipment with a book value of roughly RMB 416 million for about RMB 395 million and lease it back to Shenzhen Hongrui, which will pay around RMB 450 million in lease instalments. The terms were set after arm’s-length negotiations, referencing the assets’ book value, market financing conditions and perceived benefits to the group’s funding flexibility and asset utilization.
