Laura Martin has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, starting with The Trade Desk’s strong near-term profit and loss momentum, which is expected to keep supporting the share price despite strategic overhangs. She acknowledges investor concerns around AI buying agents, intensifying competition from major platforms, and questions about the relative strength of single-sided demand-side platforms versus integrated ad tech players, but views these as manageable rather than thesis-breaking risks.

At the same time, Martin notes that recent client friction and slower rollout of innovations have raised valid questions about relationships and execution, yet she sees ongoing validation of TTD’s model across the Open Internet and improving operational efficiency as key positives. Balancing these issues against the company’s growth trajectory, she maintains a constructive long-term outlook, justifying a Buy rating, with her price target kept unchanged at $25, indicating further upside from current levels.

In another report released on July 13, UBS also assigned a Buy rating to the stock with a $28.00 price target.

TTD’s price has also changed dramatically for the past six months – from $34.150 to $18.640, which is a -45.42% drop .
