# GPU/CPU Sector Rises in Overnight Session, AMD Up Nearly 8%, AVGO Up Nearly 2%

During the overnight session on Tuesday, July 21 (US Eastern Time), the GPU/CPU sector rallied broadly, with mainstream names posting widespread gains. As of press time, **AMD.US** showed the strongest performance, trading at $541.86 in overnight session, up 7.21% from the previous close, with an intraday high of $548.14 and a peak daytime gain approaching 9%.
