# Todd Gordon says Nvidia remains a core holding, but growth is slowing

According to CNBC, Todd Gordon of Inside Edge Capital said Nvidia still deserves a place in portfolios, but investors should think in terms of position sizing rather than asking whether to sell outright. He said Nvidia has delivered one of the strongest runs in modern market history, but argued the company cannot repeat its earlier growth from a much larger base. Gordon said he expects Nvidia to lead for the next several years, while growth becomes more durable and decelerating rather than another steep surge. He also pointed to AMD's Helios rack-scale AI system, now shipping to customers including Microsoft, as a new competitive threat, and noted that OpenAI and Meta have committed 12 gigawatts of demand to AMD. Gordon said Nvidia's stock has been mostly sideways since Q1 of 2024, with a summer 2025 advance, and identified a support zone at $167-$153. He added that Nvidia currently represents about 7% of the S&P 500 and said his firm is market-weight NVDA at 7% in its flagship growth portfolio.
