The latest announcement is out from Dover ( (DOV) ).

On July 23, 2026, Dover reported that second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 7% year on year to $2.2 billion, with organic growth of 5%, while GAAP earnings from continuing operations increased 12% to $313 million and diluted EPS climbed 14% to $2.31. Adjusted earnings grew 10% to $372 million and adjusted diluted EPS 12% to $2.74, supported by double-digit bookings growth, positive organic growth across all five segments, and margin gains from operational execution despite input cost inflation.

For the first half of 2026, Dover’s revenue increased 8% to $4.2 billion and GAAP diluted EPS rose 8% to $4.06, with adjusted diluted EPS up 12% to $5.02, underscoring robust demand and a strong order book that management says improves visibility into the second half. Backed by a balance sheet the company describes as a competitive advantage and ongoing investments in capacity, productivity and M&A opportunities, Dover raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $10.55 to $10.75, implying continued value creation for shareholders if current trading conditions persist.

**Spark’s Take on DOV Stock**

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, DOV is a Outperform.

The score is driven by solid underlying financial quality and a strong, guidance-reaffirming earnings call with notably improved bookings and visibility. This is moderated by weaker cash conversion and a non-recurring 2024 profitability spike, while valuation is demanding (29.5 P/E, sub-1% yield) and technical signals are mixed rather than strongly bullish.
