Cory Jubinville, PhD has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Prime Medicine’s emerging clinical pipeline and regulatory momentum. The recent FDA clearance of the IND for PM577a in Wilson disease, alongside the earlier New Zealand CTA, establishes a global Phase 1/2 program that is expected to begin in the second half of 2026 and generate initial clinical readouts in 2027, providing a clear path to value-inflecting milestones.

Jubinville also highlights that PM577a is designed to correct the most common ATP7B mutation driving Wilson disease in North America and Europe, giving the program substantial addressable-market relevance while follow-on candidates, such as an R778L-focused therapy for East Asian patients, expand the broader opportunity. Despite a relatively short cash runway and notable short interest, he maintains that the company’s focused execution, multi-asset rare disease strategy, and defined upcoming catalysts support a favorable risk/reward profile and justify reiterating a Buy rating with an unchanged $6 price target.

In another report released on July 9, H.C. Wainwright also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $8.00 price target.
