# Dell's AI Story Gains Traction but New Risks Are Emerging

Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) is seeing its artificial intelligence (AI) business move in the right direction. However, several new risks are emerging, threatening the tech giant's AI growth story. These risks include unattractive AI server margins, potential revenue deceleration, and heavy reliance on a few large customers. That's why I'm neutral on the stock.

Dell stock has gained about 360% over the past five years, with much of that gain coming in the past two years alone. The U.S.-headquartered Dell has an expansive footprint across a range of integrated products and solutions. While Dell is going through a strong run of late, thanks to growth in its AI business, these emerging risks cannot be ignored.
