To that end, it is working on a major new supply chain hub on Long Island. The building will reportedly measure 414,000 square feet, and construction began a little while back. Once complete, Home Depot will lease the warehouse, and the building's shell should be complete sometime in the fall of 2027. Once complete, Home Depot will handle renovations inside the shell to get the building to Home Depot's overall standard. Reports noted that the building's total cost will come in around $157 million, and looked for tax exemptions of a comparatively meager $481,250 for building renovations. Reports also suggested that the development should create around 200 new jobs, a boost for Yaphank as a whole. ## **A "Scandi-Style A-Frame"** If you have been bemoaning the lack of space around your place lately, or if you are anticipating house guests you would rather not see so much, then Home Depot may have an alternative for you. Home Depot is currently selling what reports describe as a "Scandi-style A-frame" that would likely work well as a complete guest house, or perhaps even a small starter home. The building measures 19 feet by 23 feet, and costs $43,225. For a first home, that is actually pretty decent, assuming you can get the land for it and add in all the plumbing, HVAC and electric connections. The building even offers an external balcony which could be a welcome outdoor connection in the second half of summer going into fall. It is called the "Hud-1 EZ Buildings A-Frame Moose," and might be the solution to several different issues at once. ## **Is Home Depot a Good Long-Term Buy?** Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Moderate Buy consensus rating on HD stock based on 18 Buys and seven Holds assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below.
