The new _Songs of the Past_ expansion will get its first look at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026. This gives fans a date to look forward to for the latest update to _The Witcher_ series. ## **2\. _Marvel Tōkon_ Open Beta Hits PS5 and PC** Sony's (SONY) _Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls_ opened its beta test this week. Huge player demand caused some PlayStation Network issues. The game is set to be released on PS5 and PC on August 6, 2026. ## **3\. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Beats Goals** Ubisoft (UBSFY) said _Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced_ has done better than expected. The game passed its yearly sales goal in just two weeks. Halo Makes Its Way to PlayStation** Microsoft's (MSFT) _Halo: Campaign Evolved_ is coming to PlayStation, marking a first for the Halo series. Xbox and EA Make Major Moves** Microsoft is testing a free cloud play tier for Xbox. The test lets players stream select games with ads.
