# STOCKS | BlueBay’s Mark Dowding Says Warsh May Strengthen His Inflation-Fighting Image

According to Jin10, BlueBay Chief Investment Officer Mark Dowding said investors have every reason to believe Fed Chair Kevin Warsh will lean toward hawkish remarks and do everything possible to consolidate his anti-inflation reputation, although he is not expected to take any actual action for now. Dowding also said this could further flatten the U.S. yield curve in the short term, while worsening U.S. fiscal conditions and U.S. President Donald Trump’s rising spending on Middle East warfare could eventually make the yield curve steepen again at some point in the future.
