# A-Share Three Major Indices Gain 1.2%-3.2%; PCB Sector Surges in Afternoon Trade; CXMT Debut Soars 4.66x, Becomes A-Share Market's Largest Stock by Market Cap

China's industrial profits of enterprises above designated scale in June saw YoY growth narrow to 15.1%, while profits for the first six months rose 18.7%. Profit in the electronics sector in 1H26 increased 96.9% YoY. The RMB central parity against the USD was set at 6.7911, up 28 bps from the previous day. The PBOC conducted RMB325.5 billion of seven-day reverse repo operations. Meanwhile, RMB398.5 billion of reverse repos and RMB400 billion of MLF matured. The three major A-share indices opened mixed before all moving higher, closing up 1.2% to 3.2% for the day.

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 44 pts or 1.15% to close at 3,858, with turnover of RMB1.03 trillion. The Shenzhen Component Index gained 374 pts or 2.72% to close at 14,148, with turnover of RMB1.04 trillion. The ChiNext Index climbed 109 pts or 3.16% to close at 3,590, with turnover of RMB480.777 billion.

Among Chinese bank stocks, ICBC (601398.SH) -0.020 (-0.258%) slipped 0.3%, CCB (601939.SH) +0.100 (+0.975%) gained 1%, while CMB (600036.SH) -0.200 (-0.510%) fell 0.5%. Chinese insurers CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.580 (-1.439%) and CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) -0.330 (-1.033%) dropped 1.4% and 1%, respectively. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) +0.510 (+0.555%) rose 0.6%. CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) +16.990 (+4.436%) surged 4.4% after reporting 1H26 net profit of RMB43.284 billion, up 42%, raising its interim dividend to HKD1.629, and announcing a proposed A-share buyback of up to RMB40 billion.

Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +0.040 (+0.028%) closed nearly flat, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) -21.500 (-6.517%) fell 6.5%. AI chipmaker CAMBRICON (688256.SH) +16.020 (+1.308%) rose 1.3%. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) +8.590 (+1.046%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) +5.850 (+0.975%) each gained 1.1%. LQKJ (688008.SH) -6.210 (-2.658%) dropped 2.7%. Optical fibre stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +4.240 (+1.278%) rose 1.3%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) -22.970 (-5.026%) fell 5%, with turnover exceeding RMB26.9 billion. ZTE (000063.SZ) +0.250 (+0.714%) edged up 0.7%.

CXMT (688825.SH) +40.340 (+465.820%) opened more than 471% higher on its debut at RMB49.5. The stock once skyrocketed 5.35x intraday to RMB55.03 before closing up 4.66x at RMB49, with turnover reaching RMB141.187 billion, making it the first A-share stock in history with single-day turnover exceeding RMB100 billion. Its total market capitalization once approached RMB3.28 trillion, ranking first in the A-share market.

Optical module stocks advanced, with ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) +30.430 (+2.908%) and TFC (300394.SZ) +5.780 (+2.842%) rising 2.8% to 2.9%, while EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) +14.980 (+3.147%) gained 3.2%.

The printed circuit board (PCB) sector surged in afternoon trade. NANYA NEW MATERIAL (688519.SH) +16.140 (+7.216%) rose 7.2%, while VICTORY GIANT TECHNOLOGY (300476.SZ) +8.650 (+3.761%) , DTECH (301377.SZ) +17.780 (+4.483%) and CFMEE (688630.SH) +12.100 (+2.960%) closed up 3% to 4.5%.
