# BUZZ-Airline, cruise stocks climb as oil prices tumble on Mideast de-escalation hopes

Shares of major U.S. airlines and cruise operators gain in premarket trading as oil prices slide after U.S., Iran pause fighting over weekend

American Airlines (AAL.O) , United Airlines (UAL.O) , Delta Air Lines (DAL.N) , Southwest Airlines (LUV.N) gain between 3-3.9%

Cruise operators Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH.N) , Royal Caribbean (RCL.N) , Carnival Corp (CCL.N) add between 2.8-3.2%

Brent crude futures fall over 7% to their lowest since July 21 (O/R)

Fuel costs are among the largest operating expenses for airlines and cruise operators

S&P Composite 1500 Passenger Airlines Index (.SPCOMAIR) has fallen over 11% this month so far
