# Optical Communication Stocks Surge in Overnight Session; LITE Up Nearly 4%, AXTI Up Over 5%

During the overnight session on Monday (July 27) ET, the optical communication sector saw broad-based gains, with major stocks posting significant advances. As of press time, LITE.US was trading at $792.27 in the overnight session, up 3.84% from the previous close. AXTI.US showed even stronger momentum, rising over 5% to $49.57, after touching an intraday high of $51.84.

Other heavyweight stocks in the sector also moved higher. GLW.US gained approximately 2.86% to $150.84 in overnight trading, while COHR.US rose nearly 4% to $293.43. MRVL.US advanced about 3.73% to $201.46. NOK.US edged up 1.54% to $9.24, AAOI.US climbed roughly 3.73% to $103.89, and POET.US surged about 4.06% to $7.17 in the overnight session.

Among derivative stocks, LITX.US jumped approximately 6.88%, while LITZ.US, AAOX.US, and MVLL.US also recorded varying degrees of gains. Overall, the optical communication sector saw active buying interest during the overnight session, driven by expectations of improving industry fundamentals. Investor attention on optical module and optical chip-related stocks has significantly increased.
