Neal Dingmann has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Diversified Energy’s operating performance and acquisition strategy. He expects the second quarter to be robust, supported by incremental volumes from the Sheridan acquisition, resilient production trends, and a low base decline profile that collectively underpin steady cash generation even in the face of some hedge-related headwinds.

He also highlights the company’s balance sheet strength and structured partnerships, such as the Camino-Carlisle SPV, which help fund growth while keeping leverage metrics contained. In his view, Diversified’s focus on smaller, attractively priced acquisitions in a rich deal environment, coupled with potential upside from higher future natural gas prices, supports meaningful valuation appreciation, reflected in his fair value estimate that implies substantial upside from current levels.

According to TipRanks, Dingmann is an analyst with an average return of \-3.8% and a 38.71% success rate. Dingmann covers the Energy sector, focusing on stocks such as Matador Resources, Ovintiv, and Northern Oil And Gas.

In another report released on July 22, Truist Financial also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $17.00 price target.
