# The Market's Unclassified Bin: Real Infrastructure vs. AI Noise

I always say, stop staring exclusively at the trillion-dollar mega-caps. When you rummage through the market's unclassified bin—a weird mix of Detroit legacy metal, obscure photonics, and software tools peddling AI wrappers—you quickly figure out who is actually executing and who is just asleep at the wheel. This group of ten is a messy hodgepodge, but it tells a clear story about where real value is migrating in 2026. This is stupid and here's why.

The real action right now is in the gritty, physical infrastructure layer. **Generac (GNRC.US)** is finally proving it's more than just a weather-dependent hurricane hedge. They scooped up a global supply deal with a hyperscaler in June 2026, pivoting hard into the data center power resilience game. That is a real business. Behind the scenes, hardware niche players are printing money quietly. **NVE Corp (NVEC.US)** just posted Q1 2026 revenue of **USD 11.03M** and EPS of **USD 1.32**. Even with CEO Daniel Baker retiring in August, their spintronics sensors remain a high-margin necessity for industrial and defense clients. Add in **LightPath Technology (LPTH.US)** grinding away in the optics supply chain, and the perennial government contracting behemoth **Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH.US)** vacuuming up intelligence dollars, and you see where the stable cash is flowing.

Then we have the mobility transition, which is moving at the speed of a rusty tractor. Mary has **General Motors (GM.US)** raising its full-year 2026 guidance, and they finally resumed supervised public testing for their autonomous tech. But an "eyes-off" system by 2028? Why aren't you moving faster? Meanwhile, **Mobileye (MBLY.US)** is still securing wins despite the broader Intel mess, pushing past 250 million EyeQ SoC shipments and locking in a 2027 integration deal with Stellantis.

Over in the software and attention economy, I am profoundly bored. **Wix.com (WIX.US)** rolled out its AI website builder in May 2026, promising users they can build a site just by chatting. Great, but who isn't slapping an AI chat interface on their product right now? **Asana (ASAN.US)** is still out there trying to convince everyone that we need yet another dashboard to connect cross-functional workflows. And **Roku (ROKU.US)** remains locked in a brutal fight for TV streaming ad dollars, a space where the hardware is just a loss leader.

Finally, we have the micro-cap noise. **Haoxi Health Technology (HAO.US)**, an online marketing firm, did a 1-for-128 reverse split in May 2026 and then raised **USD 4M** in July to build an "AI digital marketing system." This looks exactly like the kind of buzzword-salad capital raising that we should be leaving behind. Good luck with that.

My view is clear: Ignore the software companies wrapping themselves in AI marketing, and pay attention to the heavy-metal and power-grid players who are actually building the infrastructure for the next decade.
