# ASM's Guidance Beats Expectations as AI Boom Boosts Chip Equipment Demand

ASM International NV, headquartered in Almere, Netherlands, forecasts third-quarter revenue (at constant exchange rates) to be €1.1 billion, with a fluctuation of ±5%.

Demand for the company's equipment remains robust, driven by the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and the transition to new chip architectures with more complex manufacturing processes.

Due to increased equipment demand, ASM has raised its 2027 revenue outlook to "exceed" the upper end of its previous target range of €3.7 billion to €4.6 billion.
