# P&G Q4 Profit Drops, Sees Growth In FY27; CEO Jejurikar To Take Addl. Role Of Chair; Stock Down

Consumer goods major Procter & Gamble Co. (PG), while reporting weak profit and higher revenues in the fourth quarter, on Wednesday issued fiscal 2027 outlook, expecting higher earnings and revenues.

Separately, the company announced that Shailesh Jejurikar has been appointed Chairman of the Board, effective August 1. Jejurikar assumes the position in addition to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Jon Moeller, Executive Chairman, will retire from the Board effective July 31, and from P&G effective August 14.

In the pre-market activity on NYSE, the shares were losing around 3.4 percent, trading at $143.68, after closing tTuesday's regular trading 0.2 percent higher.

Looking ahead for fiscal 2027, P&G expects net earnings per share growth in the range of one to five percent versus fiscal 2026 earnings of $6.62 per share.

The company said it estimates a headwind of approximately $1 billion after-tax driven by higher raw materials, energy and transportation costs, and other charges, equating to a headwind of $0.56 per share.

Core earnings per share growth for the year is projected in the range of in-line to three percent versus fiscal 2026 core earnings per share of $6.89. The outlook equates to a range of $6.89 to $7.11 per share, with a mid-point estimate of $7.00, or an increase of one and a half percent.

Further, P&G expects annual all-in sales growth in the range of one to three percent versus the prior year. The company also expects organic sales growth in the range of one to three percent versus prior year.

Capital spending is estimated to be in the range of four and a half to five and a half percent of fiscal 2027 net sales.

In the fourth quarter, net earnings came in at $3.044 billion or $1.26 per share, compared to $3.615 billion or $1.48 per share, last year.

Adjusted earnings were $3.440 billion or $1.43 per share for the period, compared to $1.48 last year.

The company's revenue for the period rose 1.5 percent to $21.203 billion from $20.889 billion last year.
