# Survey: AI Dominates Compliance Priorities at Historic Margin as Firms Move from Awareness to Action

In Washington, a recent survey conducted by the Investment Adviser Association (IAA), ACA Group (ACA), and Yuter Compliance Consulting (YCC) revealed that AI has become the primary compliance concern for investment adviser firms in 2026. The survey, known as the 2026 Investment Management Compliance Testing (IMCT) Survey, highlighted that an overwhelming 85% of respondents recognized AI as the top compliance priority for this year. This represents a significant 28-percentage-point surge from the previous year and marks the highest percentage for a single response in the survey.
