Direxion, an ETF issuer, has launched income-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) built around Nvidia (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), Alphabet (GOOGL), Meta (META), Palantir (PLTR), and Micron (MU). ### Claim 55% Off TipRanks NVDS: built for a short position on NVDA Instead of relying on dividends, the funds generate income by selling covered call options on the underlying stocks. The goal is simple. Investors can earn regular income while continuing to own AI companies that pay little or no dividends. ## **What Makes These ETFs Different** The six funds are part of Direxion's new Defined Income Boost lineup. Each fund is linked to a single stock and follows a rules-based options strategy developed with Cboe. Unlike many of Direxion's other ETFs, these funds do not use leverage. Instead, they earn option premiums through covered calls. The launch comes as options-based ETFs continue to gain popularity. Many investors want to keep exposure to AI stocks while also generating income from their holdings. Earlier this month, TipRanks highlighted several option-income ETFs that use similar strategies to generate high yields from popular stocks. Chief Product Officer Mo Sparks said the launch builds on Direxion's experience in derivatives-based investing. He added that the company plans to expand the Defined Income Boost family over time. Direxion managed about $85.4 billion in assets as of June 30, 2026.
