Soybean futures slide as U.S. weather forecast turns more favorable
Soybean futures declined on the CBOT as favorable weather forecasts, including expected rains and cooler temperatures in the U.S. Midwest, improved crop conditions during the pod-setting phase. Corn and wheat prices also fell, though wheat received some support from Black Sea hostilities. Meanwhile, U.S. ethanol production reached its highest level since January, exceeding analyst expectations.
