Constantin Hesse has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including Siltronic’s stronger-than-expected Q2 performance and improved full-year guidance. The company exceeded both sales and EBITDA forecasts on the back of solid volume growth, and management has modestly raised its revenue outlook, supported by high utilization in 300mm wafers and a projected rebound in 200mm demand in the second half.

Moreover, operational metrics are trending in the right direction, with sequential sales growth, a notable improvement in gross margin driven by better capacity utilization, and a sharp reduction in net cash outflow. The balance sheet has strengthened as net debt declined and the equity ratio increased, providing additional financial flexibility. Given these fundamental improvements and the more constructive demand backdrop, Hesse maintains his $100 price target and concludes that the stock offers attractive upside potential at current levels.
