# BUZZ-Street View: Deep-sea deals and high-flying jets put wind in GD's sails

Jefferies (“buy,” PT: $440) says GD Marine’s strong momentum continues after a Q2 beat-and-raise, with Electric Boat (submarine division) securing major awards and planned investments that enhance visibility into future growth and support progress toward a higher submarine production cadence

Morningstar (fair value: $407) says GD’s portfolio of high-quality defense businesses remains a key strength, with steady profit growth expected across its operations, while submarines and Gulfstream are seen driving faster growth than the broader portfolio
