# VinFast Posts Surging Q2 2026 EV Deliveries Amid Asset-Light Shift

The latest announcement is out from VinFast Auto ( (VFS) ).

VinFast Auto reported strong second-quarter 2026 delivery growth, underscoring its expanding global footprint in electric vehicles. The company said on July 30, 2026 that it delivered 70,085 EVs worldwide in 2Q26, a 96% year-on-year increase, driven by models such as the Limo Green and VF 3, and bringing first-half 2026 EV deliveries to 128,662, up 78%.

The firm also completed a late-June 2026 divestment of its Vietnamese manufacturing arm VFTP as it shifts to a more asset-light, capital-efficient model, delaying publication of its unaudited 2Q26 results and signaling a strategic restructuring with implications for margins and capital deployment.
