# Why IONQ, RGTI, QBTS, and QUBT Stocks Are Falling Ahead of Earnings

Quantum computing stocks fell sharply on Wednesday as rising bond yields and a broader technology selloff pushed investors away from speculative growth shares. Rigetti Computing, Inc. (RGTI) dropped 8.95%, while Quantum Computing Inc. (QUBT) lost 5.44%.

IonQ, Inc. (IONQ) fell 5.58%, while D-Wave Quantum Inc. (QBTS) declined 5.20%.

The group moved lower without a clear sector-wide business setback. Instead, the selling followed a rough session for U.S. stocks after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and three policymakers favored a rate hike. The Nasdaq Composite fell 1.7%, while the Nasdaq 100 **(NDX)** entered correction territory after dropping 10% from its June peak.
