# Apple, Steel Dynamics, CBRE Group And More: CNBC’s ‘Final Trades’

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” **Kevin Simpson**, Capital Wealth Planning founder and CIO, named **Steel Dynamics, Inc.** (NASDAQ:STLD) as his final trade.

Lending support to his choice, Steel Dynamics, on July 20, reported better-than-expected second-quarter sales results.

**Stephen Weiss**, chief investment officer and managing partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, recommended the **U.S. 10 Year Treasury**.

**Joseph M. Terranova**, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, recommended **Apple Inc.** (NASDAQ:AAPL) ahead of quarterly earnings.

Apple is scheduled to release earnings results for the latest quarter after the closing bell Thursday. Wall Street expects the iPhone maker to post quarterly earnings of $1.89 per share on revenue of $108.65 billion.

**Bryn Talkington**, managing partner of Requisite Capital Management, picked **CBRE Group, Inc.** (NYSE:CBRE).

Supporting her view, CBRE Group, on Wednesday, posted better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter. The company reported quarterly earnings of $1.56 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.49 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $11.226 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $11.183 billion.

**Price Action:**

-   Steel Dynamics shares fell 2.9% to close at $252.34 on Wednesday.
-   CBRE Group shares gained 0.5% to settle at $147.78 during the session.
-   Apple shares fell 0.6% to close at $338.19 on Wednesday.
