FHLBank Chicago Increases MPF® Habitat for Humanity® Program Subsidy to $3 Million to Expand Affordable Homeownership Opportunities
In Chicago, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) has raised the subsidy available for its Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®) Habitat for Humanity® Program to $3 million. The program's member limit has also been increased from $1 million to $2 million in unpaid principal balance (UPB). These adjustments provide more room for approved member financial institutions to offer below-market mortgage financing to eligible homebuyers.
